Morphometrics Workshop
In the Fall of 2008, we hosted Miriam Zelditch (Museum of Paleontology, The University of Michigan) who presented a 4-day workshop of morphometric techniques.
We will host a folder with programs packaged for download on Windows. Click here to see a list of downloads from our site
Below are links to some of the programs used for this workshop. For a comprehensive list of morphometrics programs, see the morphometrics page @ SUNY Stony Brook, maintained by F. James Rohlf.
MorphoJ : Morphometric Analysis using Java. Runs on both Windows and Mac.
The TPS suite of programs for digitizing images for morphometric analysis. By F. James Rolf
" TpsDig is a Windows (95 through XP) program for digitizing landmarks and outlines for geometric morphometric analyses."
IMP Suite of analysis programs, from H. David Sheets, based on MATLAB. Windows only. There are two versions of these programs.
For now, see the home page : http://www3.canisius.edu/~sheets/morphsoft.html
If you have questions about the selection of these programs, contact Miriam Zelditch, or consult her primer for geometric morphometrics:
